The main things that cost us money are infrastructure, storage, bandwidth, AI, and third-party services. Storage is a big one for a cloud storage product, but we keep it under control by storing customer data in secure AWS infrastructure in Sydney and becoming more deliberate over time about how data is distributed and retained so storage costs stay predictable instead of quietly compounding.

We also run our own core technology instead of paying a third-party provider every time customers use the product. A lot of products get to market faster by bolting on expensive services for core functionality. That can work for subscriptions, but it can become a real problem for LTDs because the cost compounds as more customers use the platform. We've tried to avoid building the business that way.

So the short version is: we're not relying on hype, one marketing channel, or unsustainable feature economics to make this work. We're trying to keep the product itself efficient to operate, and a meaningful part of LTD revenue goes back into growth and business development so the company keeps moving forward.

We'll credit what you already paid toward the higher tier, so you're only paying the difference rather than starting again from scratch.

Your storage quota is shared across your entire team. When you add users to your team, each person gets their own individual drive, and there's also a shared team drive that everyone can access. The total storage from your tier is pooled across all of these — individual drives and the team drive alike.

So if you're on a tier with 300GB, that's 300GB total for your team to use however makes sense, whether that's mostly in the shared drive, spread across individual drives, or a mix of both.

When we improve the core KYZON Flow product, those features will come with your KYZON Flow LTD. We're not treating the LTD like a frozen version of the app.

The only area where we're more careful is features with a heavy ongoing cost, especially AI. If something falls into that category, we may offer it as an optional add-on rather than bundling it in by default.
